Christmas Morning

When Nahlia woke up I don't think she realized it was Christmas morning. We asked her who comes to your house on Christmas Eve and she said the Grinch and that he takes all our stuff. We laughed and told her Santa came last night and she got all excited and ran to look out the front door to find him. Sadly she came back to our room to tell us he wasn't there. She completely missed all the presents under the tree. It took her a little while to notice them.

Her "big" present was this table and chair set. It didn't come with "girl" colors so "Santa" had to paint a pink and purple one. He did a great job. She had asked Santa to bring her Dino Dan for Christmas, a Canadian TV show that doesn't sell merchandise. So she got a dinosaur flashlight and a folder with dinosaur coloring pages and Dino Dan's picture on the front.

One of the outfits from her Princess dress up trunk.
Nathan had to work later that day (not the first time that's happened) so we just hung out and played with our new stuff.

Ward Christmas Party

Best Santa we've seen. Nahlia LOVE's Santa and still in March sings Santa Clause is Coming To Town and Elf is her favorite movie right now. When Santa came out he was going to walk right by Nahlia. She started running toward him to give him a hug but he kind of gave her the stiff arm and when right by. Nathan and I laughed so hard because we know how much she loves him. We have it on video but it wouldn't upload. She asked him for Dino Dan, if you don't know who he is he's on Nickelodeon, a little boy who sees dinosaurs. It's origonally from Canada and they don't make any Dino Dan toys. The primary was asked to sing and eventhough she's not in the primary and doesn't know the song she decided to join in anyways.

Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

I had Craig and Linzy take our family Christmas pic when they were here for Thanksgiving. So cute, haha. Honestly I almost retook it because I couldn't figure out if I looked orange or Nate just looked white. Craig convinced me it was Nate, haha. The day after we got back from Utah we got a Christmas tree. I was very excited. It was the first tree our Pacifica carried. I thought that was note worthy. Nate's so manly. And the decorating. Nathan decided the blue and silver ornament's where not Christmassy enough so I get to buy new ones next year.

It smelt soooooo gooood. That poor tree didn't last very long. The tree lot guys said to add some sugar to the water to help it last longer, well I must have add to much sugar because it only made it a week before it started to get dry and stiff. I turned a beautiful tree into a sad little Charlie Brown twig.
Merry Christmas
